Stand Up America & Say the Pledge
Dear Exchange Leaders:
I am pleased to announce that the popular and successful Stand Up America and Say the Pledge initiative will once again be offered. This 90-day trial membership recruitment program will begin January 15 – April 15, 2012. As we move into the holiday season we will all be coming in contact with many people. The time is now to start identifying prospective members and planning events and programs so we can hit the ground running in January.
Stand up American and Say the Pledge is your chance to dramatically increase the size of your clubs. Enclosed are materials you can use to recruit and sign up new members.
Here are some suggestions on how to begin:
- Plan an exciting membership mixer – invite each member to invite at least one solid prospect.
- Organize interesting programs at your meetings so your prospects will want to return.
- Include regular Exchange Education segments outlining the great value of Exchange Membership.
- Challenge a neighboring club to a competition to see who can recruit the most members.
- Identify local businesses near your meeting place and stop by to talk to owners and employees about Exchange, and leave literature behind. Be sure to invite them to a meeting!
- Include a Say the Pledge event some time during the recruitment period. (this is not mandatory)
The Exchange New Club Building BLITZ Kick Off

It's half time in the Exchange 2011/2012 year, and we are pleased to introduce a new pilot program to help you build new Exchange Clubs!*
All clubs chartered during the New Club Building BLITZ will be able to charter with a minimum of 15 members for the discounted rate of $375 (a savings of $125!!)
Earn Exchange Market Dollars
The sponsoring club will receive $357 in reward dollars to the Exchange Market, as well as special recognition at the National Convention.
Club builders will receive $150 each in reward dollars to the Exchange Market ($300 max per club).
Win a Convention Package
Clubs chartered that gain 5 yards by adding 5 new members by June 25th (for a total of 20 members) receive one entry into the draft to win a complimentary convention package (for the sponsoring club).
Clubs chartered that gain a first down by adding 10 new members by June 25th (for a total of 25) receive two entries into the draft to win a complimentary convention package.
Clubs chartered that score a touchdown by adding 15 new members by June 25th (for a total of 30 or more members) receive three entries into the draft to win a complimentary convention package.
Contest kicks off now and time runs out on June 25, 2012
Drawing will be held no later than June 27, 2012.
